JIO GIGA-FIBER STARTS FROM JUST RS. 700

The Jio Giga-Fiber, which is the fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) service provided by the infamous Reliance Jio is one of the most awaited thing in 2019. But the time has finally arrived where we can now access the benefits of the high speed internet by Jio.

Today, on 12 August, 2019, Mukesh Ambani finally revealed the triple play of carriage content and commerce at the 42^nd AGM of Reliance Industries.

The benefits of Jio Giga-Fiber includes lifetime free voice calls from Landline phones and high speed broadband services, HD TV and dish within a cheap rate.

The services will start from 5 September which is the anniversary of Reliance Jio. On commercial basis in 1600 cities the service will be started.

The Basic plan starts from Rs.700 upto Rs.10000 per month which ranges to 100 mbps to 1 Gbps. The cheapest plan of 700 will give 100 Gb with a speed of 100 Mbps. After the limit is reached the speed will be throttled to 1 Mbps and the user can have a booster of 40 Gb after that.

The plan also has a feature of unlimited international call at Rs 500 per month to US and Canada. Jio also has a Forever plan in which it will give you the benefits of a 4K LED TV with 4K set-top box.

The biggest highlight of the AGM was that Jio is launching a brand new feature for Premium giga-fiber users in which, users will be able to watch the latest movies at their home on the release date which they call, “ Jio First Day First Show “.

The Reliance AGM also talks about Mixed Reality (MR) which with a VR Headset anybody can watch movies, do virtual shopping and education. The services also has application like digital TV to cloud gaming.

Ambani revealed that Jio Fiber will hit around 15 million people in 1600 towns with which Jio will be giving the services to small and big business to connect via a high speed internet at a cheap rate.

So, that was a big story yesterday. Now, I am eagerly waiting for the 5^th September launch date because this move from Jio can change the outcome of various industries from Gaming to business, Believe me it will change a lot.
